God’s Plans > Our Ideas

Sometimes, we block ourselves from receiving God’s best for us because we’re so married to the idea of what we want, how we want it, where we want it, and when we want it.

We tend to cling so much to what we think we know is best for us that we have a difficult time believing, accepting, and experiencing that “better” exists and that it’s attainable.

With that being said, I’m not saying we should completely divorce our desires/goals and our plans to achieve them. But I am saying that we should be flexible with them … that we should be more open to new things, new perspectives, new ways, new instruction.

It’s been my experience, lately, that the more I let go of doing/having things My Way and intentionally pursue alignment with God’s Way, the more it seems things are shifting and working together for the better.

It’s true, positive shifts in mindset lead to positive shifts in reality.
